The Lima Bean

is another weapon in my arsenal.  I get down on lima beans.  One can of Del Monte has around 280 calories but little of the fat that I know and love.  Along with my Michellina peppersteak and rice light entree I ate one last night.  Right out of the can: open top of can and serve with large spoon.  Friends and family looked on in amazement and disgust.

Email Rob (I need all the encouragement I can get!)

That’s extremely lucky, that you can actually get down on a food like limas. High fiber, high protein, no fat. Rock that shit, homie.

Yup…It gets at B+ in the Calorie Counter Database I use. Carrots, lettuce, radishes and such are the one A+’s I’ve seen so far, but you know me pretty good. With the grades I got in school, B+ is a step up!

I like me some beans too — but that straight out of the can shit is for stray cats. I like mine heated up.

Back in the day when I actually had a six pack (it’s true — I was living with the Captain, and it was 1993), I used to eat a can of either lima beans or kidney beans with some fat free cheese and tabasco sauce, and a can of tuna. It was extremely healthy, but as I think back on it, utterly repulsive.

Kidney Beans……I like those too. I once ate a census taker with a side of fava beans and a nice chianti. I wonder if I ate generous amounts of liver if it would re-grow my liver, which is the size of a charcoal briquet. I’ll run it through the calorie counter tomorrow.

Liver would be great, since there is no way anyone could keep it down, so you couldn’t possibly gain any weight from it.
