Pedometer

I purchased a pedometer yesterday in an effort to get my activity level up even more.  I set a goal of 70,000 steps a week (in addition to the gym) and am using this little bad boy as a means to track and motivate me.  So far it has worked.  When I need a break from work, I get up and wander around to get my step count up.  If I am low for the day, I will get a walk in before settling in front of the TV for the evening.  I highly recommend trying this out.  As the Captain said in an earlier post, setting mini goals makes the big goal easier to reach.  Counting your steps is an easy mini-goal to set and track.

Email Brad (Why didn't anyone tell me my ass was this big?)

Instead of a pedometer, I think I’m just going to walk around and yell out the number of steps I’m taking. I think that’ll be more fun. Especially at the mall.

Let me know how that turns out for you.
