More Progress

I am down to 277 and still moving in the right direction, albeit slowly.  With all of the time away from home it has been difficult to establish any momentum.  The last few days (since I got my lights back on) I have been able to get into a good rhythm both with my eating and working out.  With no trips planned until Vegas big losses are expected in the coming weeks.

Email Brad (Why didn't anyone tell me my ass was this big?)

Keep it up my man. You’ll get it done — but you’ve got to keep that pace up to make it (or say to hell with it, make the pace even more and blow the doors off the goal!).

That Wii you just got certainly can’t hurt. Throw that in with you daily gym routine and you’ll start melting.

When you come down to visit we can even hit the gym on Sunday morning (I’m sure i can get you a guest pass). That’ll make us feel good about ourselves before ruining that workout with our Superbowl festivities.

Sweet… yeah, log yourself a couple of 4-5 pound weeks here before Vegas and you’ll give yourself some breathing room on the end goal, to protect yourself from Super Bowl parties and the like.

I am heading to The Captain’s for the Super Bowl so we will eat healthy enough

Oh — and I want to be clear on that Superbowl thing — we’re NOT planning an eating blowout, in case anyone gets that idea (not that you were insinuating that). We’re actually staying at my house and not going to a party to avoid that. We’re currently thinking of all healthy food ideas. The booze won’t help us to be sure, but at least we won’t be double whammy-ing ourselves.

Hit up Mrs. General for her bean dip recipe. Beans, cheese, sour cream are all fat-free, and it tastes (IMO) indistinguishable from the full-fat version.

have her post it on the blog. Sounds good to me but I’m not sure Mrs. Pirate and Mrs. Captain will want us tanking up on a plate full of beans.

Mrs. Captain has had to get used to the pungent aroma that goes with my 3 times a week bean burrito habit.

Plus — Brad’s bringin Wiisy up here, so we’ll get some exercise to burn some calories that weekend too.

Pee Wii Herman is making the trip so a little virtual sporting is on!!!

Nice one. I’ll probably use Wiisy when I get one then!
