Best week yet

I dropped 3 pounds to 271.  If I can repeat I will make my Vegas goal!

Nice bounce back! Start stringing these babies together and then you’ll be talkin’ (whatever that means)!

Now you should repeat and try for an extra pound or two — to make up in advance for the weight we may put back on in Vegas!

Thanks, Cap’n. I’m going to have to watch it close in Vegas. I can’t afford a bad week. Other than the booze I am going to keep it as strict as possible. Probably lots of Subway and sushi.

Good! I meant the booze, anyway — I haven’t had any real bad food since December 4th. I very rarely miss it, too.

I think when I hit my goal I will have a cheat meal to congratulate myself. I was thinking steak — but for some reason pizza sounds really good every now and then.

You can make a decent pizza minus the cheese (or use a little soy cheese). keep the crust thin and load it with veggies and it will help with the hankering.

Yeah — I’ve done that. I also occasionally eat a Healthy Choice French Bread Pizza — but what I’m going to get is a real, greasy monster pizza. I think when I’m 3 pounds under my goal I’ll do that. Just once will be enough to satisfy me (probably forever to be honest). Plus, I can’t eat NEARLY as much as I used to be able to — so I could probably only down a couple of pieces.
I made chili with Morningstar Farms crumbles instead of meat last weekend and it was good — but I used to eat at least 2 bowls of chili at least (and an entire sleeve of crackers to go with it). I only planned on eating one this time (of course), and it’s a good thing because I couldn’t even finish the one bowl.
