Re-energization

I have been in a  slump of late — have not worked out much (barely any) and have eaten okay, but not stellar.

I decided today that the slump is over.  I am not unhappy that I slacked off — I believe  I earned a little  break.  But this is the point where I have to decide if I am going to be a rollercoaster guy for the rest of my life, or make this new weight loss/health kick stick.  I choose the latter.

I just ran/walked 4.5 miles at the gym and am looking into purchasing a bench and a set of good dumbbells for the house.  I am implementing weight training to my regimen. No Hulkster stuff — just light training to help burn fat.  With the General’s weight training knowledge I hope to start the fat burning up hot and heavy again, get to my goal soon and sail about 5 to 8 pounds past it.  Although my official goal is 200, I am setting a new personal goal of 192 to 194 and hoping to maintain within 5 pounds of that area from here on out (until I die I suppose…which is hopefully much later than sooner).

Email Steve (I'm even fatter than I look.)
