is the point from which I begin the stretch run. It’s pathetic that my progress over the last three months has been to gain two pounds overall, but I guess it is what it is. If I wasn’t a lazy bastard by nature, I wouldn’t be in this contest. But I have no more room for error, really — I’ve got six weeks to shed six pounds. And these will be the hardest pounds, because as I’ve said before, I haven’t been at 190 since about 9th grade. My eating has been super-clean the last three days and I’m headed for the stretch now. We may not all make it, but by god I plan to.

I am going to re-fire the gym card starting tomorrow. I have to lose 7 to 8 lbs in 6 weeks — which I am positive I can do with a lot of will power. It’s grilled fish and borccoli for dinner tonight — and that sort of theme the rest of the way out.
